On Thursday, October 16, ARI will host a virtual panel, AI Whistleblowers: Empowering Workers to Report AI Risks, with policy experts and whistleblowers from leading American tech companies. Currently, AI companies’ restrictive severance and NDAs create a chilling effect on current and former employees looking to make whistleblower disclosures to the federal government, including Congress. Featuring a moderated discussion followed by audience Q&A, this virtual panel will discuss the challenges whistleblowers face when sharing information on risky behavior from leading AI developers.
